We offer trout and grayling fishing in the crystal clear rivers Ribnik and Pliva in Bosnia.
The rivers in Bosnia are surrounded by beautiful scenery, and have very good populations of trout and grayling, as well as some rainbows. In these rivers, the temperature ranges from 10 to 12 degrees year round, so the fish are in very good condition. There are a lot of insects as well in these rivers, and the conditions are perfect for fly fishing. The fishery takes place over six days, with three days in each river. Pliva is known for its extremely clear water, large trout and difficult grayling. Ribnik is a quieter and smaller river. The trout grow large and grayling are often “golden” and speckled. The guide knows the rivers well and takes you to the best spots!
You can expect good hatches if the conditions are right, and should insects not be hatching, it can be just as exciting to fish with nymphs at fish that are spotted along the river bottom (sight-fishing).
